New tourist routes will connect Magadan Region, Kamchatka Krai and Yakutia. This was stated by Governor of Kolyma Vladimir Pechyony at a meeting of the Coordinating Council on Tourism, reports the press service of the regional government.
"The concept of tourism has been developed, according to which the events are being already implemented at the regional level. There are proposals on the combined routes to Yakutia, Chukotka and Kamchatka," - said the head of the region.
Tourists will travel within the united tours on four modes of transport: airplanes, buses, go-anywhere vehicles and SUVs. The railway communication is not included in the project, since only Yakutia has a railroad system, said the press service. New domestic routes are being created in Kolyma.
"One of the companies is preparing to open in 2017 a new route to the national nomad camp. Guests will be able to get acquainted with the life of indigenous people of the North, to try the national dish, to ride reindeer and dog sledding,"- told in the local government.
This is planned to launch sea and river cruises, rafting, seaplane flights, and gastronomic tours.
