The head of Yakutia, Egor Borisov, and the President of ALROSA, Sergei Ivanov, who is on a working trip to the region, visited the Republican Social and Rehabilitation Center for Minors on April 3.

Director of the institution Maria Sergeyeva told that annually the Center, focused on measures to prevent child neglect and juvenile delinquency, the implementation of social support for children and families in difficult situations, involves more than 20 thousand children.

The guests looked over the classrooms, offices, talked with children, appreciated their creative crafts, as well as a small excerpt from "Cat's House" play. At the end of the excursion, the children gave Egor Afanasyevich and Sergei Sergeevich paintings made with their own hands.

"Today, Egor Afanasievich and I visited several social facilities. In addition to the business tasks that our Company is working on, it is important for us to understand how the social sector is developing, - said Sergei Ivanov and added that he had a good impression of what he saw. - In Yakutia these issues are under control, at the proper level. Of course, there are problems, but it is clear that in Yakutia they are working on them, and as a socially responsible company we allocate a lot of money for social needs, construction of healthcare facilities, education, culture, and sports. And we intend to continue this policy further."

ALROSA President said that, if necessary, the Company is ready to support the Social And Rehabilitation Center. "I told the Director of the Center that they can always count on us, if some difficult times come we will find an opportunity to help," - he concluded.
